Maureen Hamilton of the Monterey Peninsula Water Management District will present on the creation of two water supply projects on the Peninsula. The water supply projects, one constructed in the 2000s and the other constructed in 2020, supply over 40% of the Peninsula’s drinking water. Both projects, new and uncommon water supply technologies at the time of their construction, followed significantly different paths in becoming a reality.
