How do I get my PDU claim code from PMI-Monterey Bay?
- Come to one of our events and before the event ends you will be given a registered Claim Code which you can submit at the PMI main web site (see link below)
Step-by-Step Guide to Claiming PDUs
- Log In: Go to www.pmi.org and log in using your PMI ID and password.
- Access Dashboard: From the top right corner, in the drop-down menu, click on Dashboard.
- Report PDUs: Click the Report PDUs button at the top right of your certification panel, which will take you to the Continuing Certification Requirements System (CCRS) page.
- Select Activity Type: Click on the button for Organization Meetings under the relevant category (e.g., Education).
- Enter Event Details:
- Organization/Host: Input the name of the PMI chapter “PMI Monterey Bay Chapter”.
- Title: Enter the name of the specific chapter event. (e.g., “Project Management Tools session #2 focused on AI”)
- Date Started/Completed: Provide the start and end dates of the event.
- PDUs Claimed: Enter the number of PDUs you are claiming, for each applicable PMI talent triangle domain (e.g. Ways of Working, Power Skills or Business Acumen) covered by the event content.
- Submit: Read and check the box to agree that the claim is accurate, then click Submit.
Important Tips
- Find Event Information: You can often find the specific meeting number or PDU activity codes in a post-event email from the chapter or on the PMI Monterey Bay Chapter website.
- Review Your Claims: Use the "View PDU Activity" or "Claim History" section on your CCRS Dashboard to track your submissions and ensure they are properly recorded.
