Members, hello with a New Year's greeting. The Chapter closed 2024 with the annual holiday party on December 11 at Asilomar Conference Grounds. In the Nautilus Room with a fireplace and buffet dinner, participants got to know each other more and made new friends. Thank you to those who attended. We will kick off 2025 with a Tuesday breakfast meeting on January 7, and an annual planning workshop on January 15.

 

Our latest happenings:

• December 11, 2024: Annual Holiday Party. Asilomar Conference Grounds. Thank you to members who responded to the announcement and registered promptly. We also invited past and prospective presenters, and others who participated or helped with previous events. Great networking and great conversations. Thank you also to board members who planned and organized the event.  
  
• January 7, 2025: First Tuesday Breakfast meeting 7:00 am – 8:00 am.
  The Breakfast Club, 1130 Fremont Blvd., Seaside, CA 93955.
  The first 10 people to RSVP will receive a free breakfast and you can also earn 1 PDU for attending. Register via https://www.meetup.com/PMI-MontereyBay. Free to members and non-members.
  
• January 15, 2025: Chapter annual planning workshop 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Panera Bread, 2080 California Avenue, Sand City, CA 93955. Light refreshments will be offered. The PMI annual plan process involves examining the state of the chapter and its needs; developing priorities for the chapter; and planning programs for the chapter. Monthly member meetings will be scheduled for third Wednesdays in various formats incl. online presentation, in-person professional meeting, and social meet-up.

• PMI North America Leadership Institute Meeting 2025: November 9-12, 2025 in Phoenix, Arizona, and the Global Summit 2025 November 12-15. The chapter will send up to two officers to these events.

 

The Board of Directors plans and executes member activities; facilitates learning, networking and engagement; and connects you with member benefits. We meet monthly on first Wednesdays.
