Hello members. The May 15 Branding your PM Career! session was held in person in the Bird Gallery of the Pacific Grove Natural History Museum. Thank you to the superb presenters Marie Spark and Mohan Vemulapalli for sharing this important information: how to survive and thrive in the ever changing-world of project management. Participants contributed their stories that further illustrated the value of the skills in strategic communication. Thank you members for participating in the annual election. You can meet the current and new board members at the member social and networking event, a garden party, on June 18.

  • May 2, 2025: A PMI visit to UCSC. Three members visited the University of California Santa Cruz main campus to speak to students about project management, careers in project management, and certificate program. Next event will be planned for fall (Sept-Oct).

 

  • May 15, 2025: Branding your PM Career! Change your narrative… to power a professional pivot! You CAN make a major career change, and the POWER is in YOUR HANDS. The secret is in CAREER BRANDING, which is how you present yourself and tell your career story. Presenters: Marie Spark and Mohan Vemulapalli. Participants earned 2 PDUs.
