ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
Dr. Cate (Xiaotong) Liu is an Assistant Professor of Business at California State University Monterey Bay, where she teaches operations management, enterprise resource planning, and project management.

She holds a Ph.D. in Management Science from the University of North Texas. She is also certified in Technical Project Management by MIT and as an SAP ERPsim instructor.

Dr. Liu’s research explores cloud computing, consumer behavior, technology adoption, service quality, and supply chain management.

Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals including Health Communication, International Journal of Information Security, Information Systems Management, The DATABASE for Advances in Information Systems, International Journal of Healthcare Information Systems and Informatics, and the Journal of Decision Systems.

She is also actively involved in professional organizations such as Project Management Institute (PMI), the Decision Sciences Institute (DSI), and the Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM).
